Zikiti earns from the diner, on the amount they save — not from your revenue. Founding partners pay 0% commission for their first 24 months.
Zikiti’s platform fee
15% of what the diner saves — never a percentage of your bill. Minimum $0.99, capped at $4.99, and waived entirely on any bill at or under $9.99.
It’s added on top of what the diner pays. It is never deducted from your payout.
Card processing
3.15% + $0.30 per transaction, deducted from your payout — the same card-processing cost you already pay today on any terminal.
This is Stripe’s cost, passed through. It is Stripe’s published Canadian card rate of 2.9% plus the 0.25% Connect fee on split payouts, and Zikiti keeps none of it. On an international card Stripe charges more than this and Zikiti absorbs the difference.

Your side is calculated independently — the diner’s Zikiti fee never touches it:
(bill − discount) + tip − card processing
On this bill: $85.00 in food and drink, plus the full $18.00 tip, less card processing. The $2.25 Zikiti fee is the diner’s, and never comes out of that.
Every tip is paid in full to the staff member who served that table, calculated on the pre-discount amount so a discount never shrinks what your server earns. Zikiti takes no share of tips.
Reservations — you set the discount
You set your own discount for each hour of each day, as deep or shallow as you like above the reservation minimum agreed when you sign. Changes above that minimum publish instantly, with no approval step. Going below it needs a quick exception request.
Walk-ins — one flat rate
Walk-in discounts are a single flat rate per restaurant, set with you at onboarding. You can request a change to it any time from your dashboard.
The $3 cover charge
Every booking puts a $3.00 per guest hold on the diner’s card, and charges it 45 minutes before the table — the moment free cancellation closes. That money is paid to you, before the guest arrives. If they turn up and settle through Zikiti it is credited against their bill; if they don’t, you keep it. No no-show button to remember, and Zikiti earns nothing on an empty table.
Tiers are earned on how many bills a month are settled through Zikiti, and they only ever add — no tier costs you anything.
